Welcome to Tsillan
An estate you can taste
In 2000, Dr. Bob Jankelson planted vines on the South Shore where apple orchards once stood. Today wine, food and the estate itself come together in one place, made for an afternoon that runs into evening.

Featured release
2023 Estate Syrah
Planted on a block that was still apple orchard when the vines went in, the Estate Syrah has earned more than forty Gold Medals and four Best of Class awards.
Our 2023 Vintage of Syrah is a blend up both our upper and west blocks, creating a striking deep ruby hue with bold notes of blueberry cobbler, black currants, cracked black pepper, cloves and hints of citrus and brown sugar. On the palate, there are rich notes of dark fruit, juicy cherry plums and savory teriyaki, creating a silky mouthfeel and elegant finish.
